Request deletion of your Servolo data
Use this page if you want Servolo to delete some or all of your personal data without deleting your entire account.
If you want your whole account closed instead, go to Delete your Servolo account.
How to request data deletion (keep your account)
- Email privacy@servolo.app or support@servolo.app from the email address registered on your Servolo account.
- Use the subject line: Servolo data deletion request.
- Include your full name and clearly list what you want deleted (for example: profile photo, saved address, job history, messages, phone number).
- We may ask you to confirm your identity before processing the request.
- After verification, we will delete or de-identify the eligible data, usually within 30 days.
Types of data you can ask us to delete
Subject to applicable law and the limits below, you may request deletion of:
- Profile details (name display preference corrections, phone, address, avatar)
- Contractor business bio / portfolio images you uploaded
- Job posts you created that are no longer needed
- Private messages and notification preferences associated with your account
- Optional AI speech/transcript-related processing data tied to your use of the app
Data that may be kept
Some information may not be fully deleted on a partial request, including:
- Data required to keep your account working (such as login email), unless you also request full account deletion
- Subscription/payment records needed for accounting, tax, or billing disputes
- Abuse, safety, fraud, or legal hold records
- Information we must retain by law
- Content already shared with other users that must remain for the integrity of another person’s account (it may be anonymized instead)
- Backups/logs that are purged on a rolling schedule
Where retention is required, we generally keep such records only as long as needed — typically up to 24 months, unless a longer period is required by law or an active dispute/investigation.
